iPhone won't connect

Try these steps if your iPhone does not appear or connect.

Check the connection

  1. Unlock your iPhone and leave it connected.
  2. Try another data cable or USB port. Connect directly to the computer if you're using a hub.
  3. Open Device in GPSPhantom and check the instruction shown for your iPhone.

Check trust and Developer Mode

Accept Trust This Computer on your iPhone. Check that Developer Mode is on in Settings under Privacy & Security. Finish any restart or confirmation prompt.

On Windows

Install Apple Devices from the Microsoft Store and restart your computer.

Try reconnecting

Quit GPSPhantom, reconnect your unlocked iPhone, then reopen the app. If it still won't connect, note the error code and open the error messages article.

iOS versions below 17.4 aren't supported.
