Route settings

Choose a speed and what happens at the end.

Travel speed

Choose Walk, Cycle, or Drive to use that profile's speed. Use Cruising speed to adjust the speed for this route.

Stay holds your location at the destination.

Loop repeats the route.

Back travels the route in reverse, then repeats.

Release returns your iPhone to its real location when the route finishes.

Activating Quick Location while a route is running parks the route. Open Routes and click Resume route to continue from where it stopped.

Choose the route settings before starting. Stay holds the destination while the device session remains connected.
