Follow a route

Move your iPhone location along a path.

Build your route

  1. Connect your iPhone, then select Routes.
  2. Choose Walk, Cycle, or Drive.
  3. Click the map to add a starting point and a destination. Add more waypoints if you want to change the path.
  4. Adjust Cruising speed and choose what happens At the end.
  5. Check the route drawn on the map, then press Start.

Change the waypoints

Use the remove button beside a waypoint to delete it. Click Clear to remove all waypoints and begin again.

While the route runs

The Routes panel shows progress, speed, and the estimated time remaining. Click Deactivate to stop the route and release the changed location.

Keep your iPhone connected while a route runs. Roads are used where region data is available. Other stretches can use a direct line.
